Halo Water Proofing has been the trusted call for Crawl Space Encapsulation across Montevallo because we answer the phone, show up when we say, and stand behind the work.
Free, no-obligation estimates · Real warranties
Halo Water Proofing started small in the Montevallo area and grew because customers kept referring us to their neighbors — that's still how most of our work comes in today.
We don't run a bidding war between crews. The Montevallo technician who inspects your property is the same one who does the repair, start to finish.
Our Montevallo crew leads carry years of hands-on repair experience, not just sales training — which is why the advice you get on-site tends to match what actually needs fixing.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems build slowly before they become emergencies. These are the clues our Montevallo crews hear about most.
Odor is often the very first clue Montevallo homeowners notice, well before any water is visible.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Montevallo crews see.
That white powder on basement walls is mineral residue left behind as water passes through the concrete.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
A wall that's starting to bow is a structural issue on top of a water issue — this jumps to the front of our Montevallo schedule.
These upstairs clues usually show up months after the basement moisture problem actually started.
From a 2 a.m. sump pump failure to a planned exterior drainage project, here's what our Montevallo crews handle most.
When water shows up fast, we move fast — extraction, drying equipment, and a plan to stop it from happening again.
Get Emergency Help →Seasonal ground movement in Montevallo tends to widen existing cracks over time, so sealing early usually costs less than waiting.
Ask About Crack Repair →A failed sump pump is the top reason for emergency calls across Montevallo after heavy rain — we install pumps sized to your actual water volume, plus battery backup for power outages.
Book a Pump Check →For yards fighting bad grading, an exterior French drain intercepts water before it ever touches the foundation wall.
Talk Drainage Options →Older Montevallo homes with vented crawl spaces see the biggest swings in seasonal humidity — encapsulation closes that off for good.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We handle below-grade waterproofing for Montevallo property managers and business owners, scheduled around your operating hours to limit disruption.
Request a Commercial Quote →No pressure, no scripts — just what actually happens once you call +1-866-476-1348.
You'll talk to a person, not a script — enough of a conversation to know what to expect before anyone shows up.
No jargon, no pressure — just a clear look at what's actually going on.
Every Montevallo quote is written before work starts, not estimated verbally and adjusted later.
Once the job's done, you get written proof of what was installed and exactly what the warranty covers.
We've heard every Montevallo horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
There's no verbal quote that grows once the crew shows up — the written estimate is final.
We're not routing your call through a national center — the person who answers is close by.
Our major repairs come with written, transferable warranties — useful if you sell the Montevallo property later.
If your Montevallo basement just needs a small crack seal instead of a full system, that's exactly what we'll tell you.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Montevallo customers through this process many times.
Word of mouth is still how most Montevallo customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Called during a storm and had a tech at my door within two hours. Explained everything before touching anything — basement's been dry since."
"Fair price, on time, cleaned up after. Wish every contractor worked this way."
"Crawl space smelled bad for years. After encapsulation, the smell upstairs is completely gone."

We back our Montevallo work with real, transferable warranties because we plan to be here long after the job is done, not just for the one visit.
